Lean Consultant Associate

Because ShopFlow Solutions works directly with OEM and end-users within manufacturing industries throughout the US, we encounter companies interested in Lean implementation, but require varying levels of support.  Most of these opportunities involve consulting, coaching, kaizen event implementation, and training.

If you are a Lean consultant or expert experienced in Lean program implementation and have an interest in providing your expertise as a third-party consultant, we would appreciate hearing from you. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum Six Sigma Green Belt
  • 3 years of experience in process improvement and Lean implementations
  • BS/BA or commensurate experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

Expertise

The individuals/groups with whom we prefer to partner possess the following:

  • Track record of implementing world-class Lean programs
    • o   Develop an understanding of client goals, challenges and opportunities
    • o   Generate “current state” value stream map
    • o   Develop “future state” value proposition
    • o   Develop project implementation strategy and timeline
    • o   Define quantifiable implementation objectives
    • o   Implement kaizen workshops
    • o   Assess and revise future state goals
    • Focus on sustainable and long-term campaigns
    • Skilled at assembling, engaging, and motivating team member employees
    • Proficient in management presentations relating to strategy discussion, quantifiable goal setting and project KPM’s, implementation structure and timeline, event report out, and project results.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Exceptional inter-personal skills
    • Demonstrates high level of dedication, commitment, passion, and energy

Our Model

As requests for Lean training or consulting come into ShopFlow Solutions, we will contact our Lean Consultant members based on geographic region.  Our objective is to schedule a meeting between our approved consultant and the prospective client.  At that point, you will assume control over the transaction, presenting consulting proposal and quotation. 

(We recommend a simple and standardized offering, based on a per day flat-rate fee with a one day minimum.  In fact, providing a menu of the most popular project requests including summary project deliverables, timeframe, and total fee.)

Sales Opportunity

Especially as it relates to visual management and 5S implementations, improved storage and organization equipment is essential.  As an approved consultant, you may quote SFS products at discounted prices to your client and you will earn a commission based on a % of net sales.
